About myCalculators.us
Free, accurate, and professional-grade online calculators for everyone
Our Mission
myCalculators.us was built on a simple belief: powerful, accurate calculation tools should be free and accessible to everyone — not locked behind paywalls or subscriptions. Whether you are a student calculating your GPA before applying to graduate school, a first-time home buyer estimating mortgage payments, a fitness enthusiast tracking your BMI, or a parent figuring out your child's due date, you deserve reliable tools that respect your time and intelligence.
We launched myCalculators.us because we were frustrated with the existing landscape: calculator websites cluttered with pop-ups, sites that require account sign-ups just to see a result, and tools that hide important context behind premium tiers. We took a different approach — build every tool to be genuinely useful, explain every formula and result clearly, and keep everything free, forever.
What We Do
myCalculators.us provides a growing library of specialized online calculators and educational guides covering the most common and important calculations in everyday life. Each calculator is designed not just to give you a number, but to help you understand what that number means — and what to do with it.
Financial Calculators
Our loan, mortgage, 401k, and percentage calculators help you make informed financial decisions. We show you not just the monthly payment, but the full amortization schedule, total interest paid, and the impact of extra payments — so you can plan your finances with confidence.
Health & Wellness Calculators
From BMI and BMR to daily calorie needs and pregnancy due dates, our health calculators use medically validated formulas based on research published by organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). We always include context and healthy range guidance alongside the results.
Academic Calculators
Students at every level use our GPA calculator, grade calculator, and citation generator to manage their academic progress. Our academic tools support multiple grading scales, include explanations of how GPA affects scholarship eligibility and graduate school admissions, and generate properly formatted citations for APA, MLA, and Chicago styles.
Everyday Utility Calculators
Our age calculator and date of birth calculator handle the kinds of everyday questions that seem simple but are surprisingly easy to get wrong — exactly how many days until your birthday, your age in months and days for a passport application, or what date was 90 days ago for a legal deadline.
Our Approach to Accuracy
Every formula on myCalculators.us is sourced from peer-reviewed research, government publications, and established professional standards. We do not invent formulas or take shortcuts. For example:
- Our BMI calculator uses the standard formula defined by the World Health Organization: weight (kg) ÷ height² (m²), with the same BMI category cutoffs used by healthcare providers worldwide.
- Our BMR calculator offers both the Mifflin-St Jeor equation (considered the most accurate for most people by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) and the original Harris-Benedict equation, so users can choose the formula their healthcare provider uses.
- Our mortgage calculator uses the standard amortization formula used by lenders and produces results that match what you would see in a bank's loan estimate document.
- Our GPA calculator follows the 4.0 scale used by the vast majority of U.S. colleges and universities, with the same grade-to-point conversions used by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and most graduate school admissions offices.
We review and update our formulas regularly as professional standards evolve. When a calculation has meaningful limitations — for example, BMI as an imperfect measure of individual health — we say so clearly on the page, rather than presenting the result as the final word.
Your Privacy Comes First
All calculations on myCalculators.us happen entirely in your web browser. When you enter your loan amount, your weight and height, your grades, or your date of birth, that data is never sent to our servers. It never leaves your device. We built this way intentionally — you should be able to use financial and health tools without worrying about your personal data being stored, sold, or exposed.
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage — how many visitors we have, which calculators are most popular, and how we can improve. This data is anonymous and aggregated; we cannot identify individual users from it. We also display Google AdSense advertisements to support the cost of running the site. We are committed to using advertising responsibly and will never sacrifice the quality of the user experience for ad revenue.
For full details on what we collect and how, please read our Privacy Policy.

Continuously Updated
We update our tools as standards and formulas evolve, and we regularly add new calculators based on user requests and emerging needs.
Our Editorial Standards
myCalculators.us follows strict editorial standards to ensure every calculator and piece of content on this site is accurate, trustworthy, and useful. Our process for developing and publishing calculator content involves four stages:
Every formula we use is sourced directly from peer-reviewed academic publications, official government health agencies (such as WHO, CDC, NIH), financial regulatory bodies (such as CFPB, IRS, HUD), or established professional organizations (such as ACOG, AACRAO). We do not use proprietary or invented formulas.
All calculator results are cross-verified against at least two independent authoritative sources before publication. For financial calculators, results are compared against official lender tools. For health calculators, results are validated against published clinical reference tables.
We disclose the limitations of every calculator clearly on the page. When a formula has known limitations — for example, BMI as a screening tool rather than a direct health diagnostic — we explain this to users in plain language alongside the result. We never overstate the accuracy or authority of our tools.
All calculator content is reviewed at least annually, or whenever relevant authoritative standards change. Each page displays a "Last Reviewed" date so users can see when content was most recently verified. When we update formulas or content, we update the review date and note what changed.
Our health calculators (BMI, BMR, Calorie, Pregnancy) and financial calculators (Loan, Mortgage, 401k) deal with topics that can significantly affect users' wellbeing and financial security. These pages include explicit medical or financial disclaimers, clear source citations, and recommendations to consult qualified professionals before making major decisions. We take the responsibility of providing YMYL content seriously and apply additional scrutiny to these pages.
